The Process

Working with us is easy! Through the power of the internet, email and fax, we have streamlined the task into just a few easy steps. You'll soon be on your way to winning interviews for jobs you want at the salary you deserve.

Step 1 : Choose Your Package

Please review our Career Packages to choose one of our five packages, or select from our Individual Products and Services to tailor your own package option.

Step 2 : Send Your Resume

If you have an existing / old resume or CV send this along with 2-3 examples of your ideal job via email, or fax to 61 (0)8.8121.8528 (dedicated fax service).

If you don't have a resume, you can complete our customized Resume Worksheet instead.

Step 3 : Sign Action Plan and Make Payment

Once you decide to work with us we will email/fax you our Client Action Plan to sign and return.

Payment in full is required to start your project; part payment may be made by arrangement with the balance of payment being required prior to receiving your first draft.

We accept payments via Direct Debit (Internet Bank Transfer), as well as PayPal and Visa and Mastercard.

Step 4 : Client Interview and Questionnaire

Client interview and completion of customized questionnaire.

On retaining our services, you will receive a customized questionnaire to complete. This questionnaire will help us uncover relevant information. Our goal is to understand your career history and previous achievements in detail so that we can create compelling content.

We can arrange a telephone consultation to discuss our strategy and clarify any extra data needed.

Step 5 : Revisions and Approval

We aim to deliver perfect resume / cv and career-related documents the first time, but we want you to be fully satisfied, and therefore will complete up to two full revisions based on your feedback. All documents will be emailed to you.

Once you are fully satisfied and on receipt of your approval, we will print hard copies and post them to you, together with a CD copy and free career-related tips and hints.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Turnaround time for completion of resume and career-related documents is generally 5 to 10 business days from the day First Place Resumes receives all the necessary information to commence writing.

Should a client change his/her mind before the resume/marketing questions are sent via email, a $75 administration fee will apply. Once the client has their resume/marketing questions in his or her possession, and they choose not to proceed within 3 days thereafter, only half of the amount will be refunded. Monies are non-refundable in either of the following cases: (1) the client has submitted the completed questions or client worksheets to First Place Resumes; or (2) the client is in receipt of his/her resume or other career-related material.

Final proofreading is the responsibility of the client (please be certain to verify all dates, spelling of proper names, etc.). The client will have the opportunity to review the draft. First Place Resumes will make the corrections and ask the client to review the document/s one more time and return to us within 7 days. Any changes made after this final review will incur additional charges at $85/hour (minimum charge of $55.00). Clients must ensure that all the information is accurate and complete. New information provided after completion of the final copy will incur consultation charges at $85/hour.

Any inaccurate, incorrect, or misleading information in the resume / cv, or other career-related documents provided to the client by First Place Resumes is not the responsibility of First Place Resumes as the client will have had every opportunity to review the materials and approve the entire content prior to delivery and/or reproduction.
